![]() This project just makes sense Thunderbolts is basically Marvel's altered of the Suicide Squad villains who pose as heroes or do the sort of morally gray missions that heroes don't want to. And, as it turns out, Thunderbolts will be a full Beef reunion: the showrunner, Lee Isaac Chung, is taking control of the script, and Steven Yeun has joined the cast in a still undisclosed role. Likely based on Kurt Busiek's comic run of the '90s, the movie was previously reported to be in the works by Variety, with director Jake Schreier-who's done some interesting work on both TV and in film, most recently on Netflix's excellent Beef -on board.
